Addabound 3mm Dune
Addagrip approved contractor Chameleon Ways, based in the U.S.A., was asked to be involved in a very creative street scheme to install a hard wearing paving product that would look like sand to suit the coastal location urban design.
Ocean City is a resort town in the U.S. state of Maryland between the Atlantic Ocean and Isle of Wight Bay. It features miles of beach and a wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants, shops and hotels.
Chameleon Ways was invited to installed 1.5 miles of Addabound Resin Bound surfacing in a 3mm Dune blend to resemble sand as part of the Ocean City Maryland Meridian project. The Addabound paving was created a wave-like pattern to provide a decorative yet durable feature in the central reservation of this busy highway strip.
The landscaping design was completed with fencing and trees.
