Resin Bound surfacing for premium clothing store in South Korea

    150mm Lucerne Silver

    Completed August 2017

When it came to designing the interior for the Second Project retail store in Gwangju Metropolitan City in South Korea, interior design company 1204 Design was looking for a decorative surface that would be low maintenance, hard wearing and blend in with the contemporary style of this premium men’s clothing store.

Addagrip Resin Bound surfacing was the perfect solution providing a seamless, welcoming, natural aggregate stone carpet for the interior showroom. The client selected a 3mm Lucerne Silver blend to complement the neutral colour scheme and provide a flooring that could be easily maintained.

Addagrip resin bound surfacing has already been used in a retail environment in the Skechers shoe store in Samcheong-dong where it has been installed not only on the floor and stairs but creatively used to provide seating and wall panels demonstrating the versatility of the product.

The resin bound surfacing installation at the Second Project store was completed in August 2017 and the client is pleased with the finished result which gives a simple, contemporary surface to match the clean design lines of the modern interior decor.
