Terrabase Rustic Oak
Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd has just completed a further installation of Terrabase Rustic Resin Bound surfacing for the recreational seating area at Sherwood Park School in Wallington.
Sherwood Park, in Surrey, is a school for pupils aged between 3 and 19 years that have Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and some pupils who have Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Having previously installed Terrabound and Terrabase Rustic in 2016 for the newly created outdoor play area, True Grip was invited by Warwick landscaping Ltd to install a further area of Terrabase Rustic Resin Bound surfacing in an Oak blend for the recreational seating area adjacent to the school building.
Resin Bound surfacing was selected to create a smooth, porous surface that is comfortable underfoot, with good slip resistance and suitable for wheelchair access. Terrabase Rustic is porous ensuring excellent drainage of the area, with no loose gravel providing a low maintenance surface with a natural aggregate finish.
The result is a welcoming outdoor area which invites exploration and play to aid learning within a safe, visually pleasing environment.
