    Highlights of 2016

    Welcome to 2017

Well, 2016 was certainly an interesting year that just flew by, the highlight was certainly achieving our BBA Accreditation for our ADDASET, ADDABOUND and TERRABOUND Resin Bound Surfacing, being the first to achieve this standard required considerable input from the Addagrip team and a big thank you goes out to them. We are the first and only company to have achieved BBA accreditation to date and we certainly hope that others will follow to improve the quality of materials currently available in the marketplace.

We have also been delighted to see the growth in our patented Terrabase Rustic system as used at Kew Gardens, look out for new colours in 2017!

The major Addagrip highlights from 2016 are included in our January newsletter, however, two major pieces of news are missing, one on a personal note I racked up 30 years at Addagrip and Aleca Ott (Production & R & D Manager) delivered a very healthy little boy in November called Wilson, well done to Aleca and Matt.

The dedication and efforts of the Addagrip Terraco team continues to achieve the level of service and quality that we strive to deliver to all our customers. Our increasing network of contractors throughout the UK and overseas all play a significant part in promoting our brand. I, on behalf of the Addagrip Terraco team, would like to thank them all for their hard work. As I always say, ‘we are only as good as their last project installation’, their skill and attention to detail are key parts of providing the highest quality surfacing installations.

.We start 2017 full of excitement for what we are sure will be another very interesting and busy year, and that’s without even mentioning the word ‘BREXIT!

This long term project has seen NIFL installing over 7000 sqm of BBA accredited Resin Bound Addaset and Terrabound porous surfacing on the driveways, paths and access roads over Phase 1, 2 and 3 of this residential housing scheme in York.

A model community project build, in partnership with Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust and David Wilson Homes, this community of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes offers a variety of housing opportunities including shared ownership, fully owner-occupied and rented homes. .... Read more

    Alconbury Weald

Addagrip approved contractor Algek IFC Ltd was invited by main contractor Breheny Civil Engineering to install over 500sqm of BBA accredited Terrabound Resin Bound porous surfacing for a playground project at the Alconbury Weald development in Peterborough.

Alconbury Weald is a 1420 acre former RAF site which is in the process of redevelopment to provide a unique and inspiring place for working, living, learning and leisure. The project will consist of over 5000 homes, business and educational buildings and leisure facilities....Read more

    Stoke-on-Trent Care Facility

Addagrip approved contractor Soft Surfaces Limited is in the process of installing a series of footpaths and courtyards using Terrabase Rustic Resin Bound surfacing at this care home in Stoke-on-Trent.

Originally specified as an 18mm system over asphalt, Soft Surfaces were asked by main contractor Seddon Construction to re-quote for a suitable system that could be installed directly onto a stone base without the need for asphalt. Terrabase Rustic, an innovative ‘no-dig’ product, was the perfect solution, providing a porous, hard wearing yet decorative surface which is smooth underfoot with good slip resistance as required for this project....
