Resin Bound entrance for Independent school in Surrey

    Contractor True Grip Ltd

    Addaset 6mm Trent

Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd has just installed 810m2 of BBA approved Addaset Resin Bound porous surfacing for St John’s School in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The Independent School for boys and girls, established in 1851, is renowned for its outstanding pastoral care and strong sense of community. As part of a refurbishment project, the school was looking for a low maintenance surfacing solution with a heritage feel for the school’s main entrance that would enhance the approach to this prestigious educational building.

True Grip Ltd worked closely with the main contractor and St John’s Estates Department to provide a decorative, hard wearing surface as part of the alterations to the main entrance and for newly constructed footpaths.  Addaset Resin Bound surfacing was selected in a 6mm Trent blend, creating a low maintenance, durable finish using natural aggregates, providing an inviting seamless decorative approach in keeping with the historic red-bricked building.

The installation was completed in September in time for the start of the new academic year.
