Addagrip are delighted to have been involved in the completion of Liverpool Football Club’s newly expanded Main Stand at the existing Anfield ground with an installation of over 2,000m2 of BBA approved Terrabound Resin Bound surfacing.
With an extra 8,500 seats taking the overall capacity to around 54,000, the £260 million redevelopment of the Liverpool Stadium Main Stand makes it one of the largest all-seater single stands in European football. The expansion plan for Anfield has allowed the Club to increase capacity whilst remaining at its physical and spiritual home.
Addagrip were approached by Planit I.E. landscape architects at the design stage to discuss the resin bound surfacing element of the project. Read more
Addagrip approved contractor Total Protection (GB) Ltd have been doing the numbers at the recently redeveloped Walthamstow Stadium, a former greyhound racing venue now transformed into residential and community use with the help of Addacolor Resin Bound surfacing.
The iconic Walthamstow Stadium in Waltham Forest East London fell into disrepair after it closed in 2008 but has now been sympathetically redeveloped by L+Q, a housing association that creates shared ownership homes in London and the South East.
As part of the schemeTotal Protection were asked by their client, Tamdown, to install Addacolor resin bound surfacing for a series of numbered areas in the communal garden and play area designed to reference the old gate numbers and colours of the greyhounds’ racing jackets. Read more
Addagrip are honoured to have been involved in the project to bring Horatio’s Garden to the Scottish National Spinal Injuries Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow using Terrabound Resin Bound surfacing.
Horatio’s Garden, a charity set up in memory of Horatio Chapple, creates and looks after beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres. The latest Horatio’s Garden, designed by acclaimed garden designer and RHS judge, James Alexander-Sinclair, has been created at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.

The client had used Addagrip systems before and was looking for a low maintenance surface that would enhance the pathways, steps and parking areas in front of the property. Read more
Addagrip approved contractor Rockstone Surfacing Limited has just completed this beautiful sweeping driveway at a property in Wiltshire with BBA approved Addaset Resin Bound porous paving.
Rockstone were able to provide a complete surfacing package that included repair work to the client’s existing driveway substrate to ensure a suitable surface for the installation. Read more
Addagrip are used to seeing their surfacing systems being used for projects all over the country but it is great to see an installation being undertaken in our own town. As part of the Uckfield Town Centre Improvements scheme, Addagrip approved contractor Street Tree Care Ltd was appointed to install a number of trees and SuDS compliant Resin Bound tree pit surfacing in the newly widened pavements in Uckfield High Street.
