Terrabase Rustic selected to replace loose gravel walkways

    Contractor Coatech Ltd

    1030m2 Terrabase Rustic Oak

Addagrip approved contractor Coatech Ltd was approached by Wright Landscapes for help with resolving the issues that their client had with existing loose gravel pathways around their property. In particular, erosion of the pathways and migration of stone were an ongoing maintenance issue.

The client was looking for an alternative to the loose gravel that would give a natural aggregate appearance but not require the installation of an invasive base or heavy machinery that would frighten the wildlife. The area can get very wet in the winter months and the client was keen to have access all year round.  Terrabase Rustic, our innovative Resin Bound porous surface that does not require an asphalt or concrete base, was the perfect option.

Coatech Ltd was invited to install over 1030m2 of Terrabase Rustic in a Rustic Oak blend to create natural looking seamless pathways around the pond and through the wild flower meadow.

Coatech worked closely around the client’s needs ensuring the pathways were completed as quickly as possible alongside other landscaping works.

The installation was completed in July 2016.
