    Blooming Kew

    Planting of the Broad Walk borders at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew is now complete. Visitors can see the longest double herbaceous borders in the country, showcasing more than 27,000 plants, perfectly complemented by 3,000sqm of Addagrip’s Terrabase Rustic Resin Bound porous surfacing in a rich Rustic Oak 6-10mm aggregate blend.

    Spectacular Galactica

    Addagrip approved contractor Resin Bonded Surfacing Ltd was delighted to be asked to install a new Resin Bound walkway in the Forbidden Valley area of Alton Towers amusement park in Staffordshire, England.

    Over 900sqm of BBA approved Terrabound Resin Bound porous surfacing was installed on the new pathway leading from the Monorail to Galactica, the new flying rollercoaster ride featuring cutting edge Virtual Reality.

    A path with a view

    Addagrip approved contractor ClearPave Surfacing Ltd was appointed to install over 1100sqm of BBA approved Terrabound Resin Bound porous surfacing to the new Barrowfields pedestrian and cycle path along the clifftop at Newquay in Cornwall.

    The 2.5m wide pathway, which is part of the Council’s wider proposals for the Newquay Cycle Network, provides spectacular views across the bay and offers better access to Barrowfields for cyclists, walkers, and those using pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

    Making a splash

    Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd were asked to carry out an unusually challenging installation that saw the team working in water!

    The existing rubber crumb surfacing around the Savanna Splash swimming pool at the African themed Safari Hotel, Chessington World of Adventures was failing and the client was looking for an alternative surfacing system that would be suitable for a pool area.

    All change at the junction

    Addagrip approved contractor Resin & Rock was asked at short notice to install a suitable surfacing for a tree pit scheme on the busy junction of Station Road and Elm Grove in Harrow, Middlesex.

    The requirement was for a hard wearing, decorative surface with no loose aggregate that would be porous enough for the existing mature trees but strong enough for pedestrian flows and installation of new street furniture.
