Surfacing for entrance to a private golf club in Kent

    Contractor True Grip

    376sqm Addaset 6mm Chocolate Buff

Wildernesse Golf Club near Sevenoaks is a private golf club set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Founded in 1890, it is one of the earliest golf courses in Kent.

The client was looking to renovate the front entrance of the Club House as the existing asphalt was looking a little tired and needed a surfacing material that was more in keeping with the heritage of the club.  The aim was to achieve a natural aggregate look without the maintenance issues of loose gravel and to provide a low maintenance, durable surface to suit the location.

Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd was invited to install 376sqm of Addaset Resin Bound porous surfacing in a 6mm Chocolate Buff blend to the front of the Club House providing a welcoming approach.  To maintain constant access for golf club members and visitors the installation was completed in two halves ensuring minimum disruption.

The end result is a hard wearing, low maintenance surface that is decorative and in keeping with the rural location and heritage of the club.  Smooth underfoot, the product has the advantage of being porous and can be power washed to keep it looking as good as new.

Addaset Resin Bound Porous surfacing is BBA approved - an industry mark of excellence.
