The planting of over 30,000 plants has started on the new herbaceous borders at the Broad Walk, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew where over 3000sqm of Terrabase Rustic Resin Bound porous surfacing was installed last summer. The design is a series of themed circles bisected by the seamless resin bound path. Planting will continue until June 2016 and we look forward to bringing you further news on progress in the spring.
Whilst viewing the new planting at the Broad walk at Kew we took the opportunity to revisit the Kew Rhizotron Tree Top Walk in order to see the Addaset Resin Bound surfacing installation that was completed in 2008.
The installation of 449sqm of Addaset, carried out by approved contractor Total Protection (GB) Ltd, provides a hard wearing, low maintenance, porous surfacing for this popular visitor attraction and is still looking good!
