We were thrilled to have been chosen to be involved in the new ‘Broad Walk’ project at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Our approved contractor, True Grip Ltd, installed over 3000sqm of our innovative new porous paving system, Terrabase Rustic, to the entire Broad Walk, on the instruction of main contractor Kier Facilities Services.
The project will create the longest double herbaceous borders in the UK, with 300m long borders either side of the Broad Walk, from the Orangery to the Palm House Pond, planted with swathes of vibrant summer flowering perennials, grasses and bulbs to form a spectacular new horticultural feature. Resin bonded Addastone surfacing has been selected by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for the redevelopment of a number of public space schemes, including the most recently completed, The People’s Park in Dún Laoghaire. Addagrip approved contractor, Saxa Landscapes, were asked to renovate the existing asphalt pathways within the historic landscaped park and installed over 1000sqm of Addastone in a 1-3mm Brittany Bronze, to resemble the original hoggin surface.
