Total Protection – one of our approved contractors - has just installed 2269m² of Addastone Resin Bonded Surfacing in the car park at Wembley. The Addastone was in 1-3mm Chinese Bauxite, incorporating a geometric grey pattern composed of 1-3mm Guyanan Bauxite. To make the pattern, Total Protection created the perimeters by saw-cutting and cutting in the resin, as required, to adjoin the colours.
The opening date was critical – so the need to work on an area constantly used by other trades was the biggest challenge. In addition, it was vital that the newly surfaced area was ready for access to the new shopping centre next to the stadium.
Addagrip approved contractor, Resin & Rock, recently completed a project in North London which involved the installation of 125m² of Addaset Resin Bound porous surfacing, 5mm Autumn Gold, on the paths and steps that ran throughout the site.
As part of the multi-million pound property refurbishment, the client required the external flight of steps to be completely surfaced in the resin bound product, so the Resin & Rock team had to meet the challenges of installing the Addaset product both vertically and without 'nosings' on the leading edge.
The end result is stunning - providing a seamless, durable and low maintenance surfacing solution.
Addagrip approved contractor, Design-a-Drive, recently completed a stunning resin bound swimming pool surround in East Sussex. The client wanted the existing surfacing replaced with a smooth, contemporary product and Terrabound Resin Bound surfacing in a 6mm Rhine Gold was just the job. The product is porous, practical, low maintenance and smooth underfoot.
In addition, pool cover fixings were drilled into the Terrabound surface to complete the project.
Congratulations to two of our approved contractors - Total Protection and Midland Decorative Surfaces - which have been mentioned in the recent BALI awards The awards are to be presented at a ceremony in London on Friday 6 December.
