ALL BASE DETAILS ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDE ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE A SPECIFICATION Concrete Slab, minimum thickness to be __mm (to take expected loads), laid in bays not exceeding 20m2 with a maximum bay length of 6m, on to a suitable Granular Sub-base Type 1 to DTLR ‘Specification for Highway Works’ to clause 803. Alternatively, install Tarmac Toproc Microsilica Concrete reducing cure time to approximately 7 days. Further details are available on request. Refer to Addastone data sheet for surface preparation information. NOTE: Addstone can be laid on existing concrete or asphalt surfaces on a suitable construction for expected traffic loads. Joints and cracks in concrete should be broken out to a minimum of 200mm width and infilled with well compacted macadam base layer as indicated above as per normal good practice for flexible surfacing and does not absolve the specifier from desigining a construction suitable for expected traffic and ground conditions. A suitable steel, wood, brick, stone or aluminium edging should be provided to ensure neat edge detail.
